A tense road rage incident involving a Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus driver and a biker on Bengaluru’s Bannerghatta Road has gone viral on social media after a video of the assault surfaced online.

According to reports, the incident occurred following a minor collision between a BMTC bus and a motorcycle near Bannerghatta Road. The biker allegedly confronted the bus driver after the mishap, leading to a heated argument on the roadside.

During the altercation, the biker was reportedly seen assaulting the BMTC driver while commuters and bystanders watched the incident unfold. The confrontation was captured on a helmet camera by another motorist travelling behind the vehicles.

The viral clip has triggered widespread discussion online over rising cases of road rage and aggressive behaviour on Bengaluru roads. Many social media users expressed concern about the increasing number of violent confrontations involving motorists in the city’s heavy traffic conditions.

Police sources said the matter has come under the jurisdiction of the Hulimavu police station, and authorities are likely to examine the viral footage as part of the inquiry.

The incident has once again highlighted concerns over road safety, commuter stress and the need for stricter action against violent behaviour in public spaces.
