Incident: A 26-year-old bouncer, Naveen Reddy, was arrested on Monday night for damaging a car on Sarjapura Main Road. The incident occurred after Naveen, who was returning home from work, collided with the rear of the car when the driver suddenly braked without signaling.
Details: Following the collision, Naveen chased the car, which did not stop. An argument ensued when Naveen confronted the driver. In his anger, Naveen broke the car’s wiper and smashed the windshield with a stone.
Charges: Naveen has been charged under Sections 126 (wrongful restraint), 324 (mischief), 351 (criminal intimidation), and 352 (intentional insult to provoke a breach of peace) of the BNS. He was arrested after passersby alerted the police.
