A 28-year-old dance instructor has been arrested by Bengaluru police following a complaint of inappropriate behaviour involving a minor girl. The incident occurred on May 24 in the Kadugodi area.

According to authorities, the individual, identified as Bharathi Kannan, was driving a vehicle when he noticed the young girl walking nearby. Introducing himself as a dance teacher, he allegedly invited her into his car under the pretext of sharing information about dance classes.

Once the girl entered the vehicle, the car doors were reportedly locked, and he drove a short distance. During this time, he is alleged to have behaved inappropriately.

After the incident, the individual returned the child to the same location where she was initially approached. The young girl, upon returning home, shared her experience with her parents, who immediately reported the matter to the police.

Following the complaint, law enforcement acted promptly and placed the individual under arrest. The case is now under investigation to ensure a thorough understanding of the events and to provide any needed support to the affected child and her family.

Police have appreciated the family’s timely response and encouraged open communication between children and guardians to help ensure their safety and well-being.
