On Wednesday morning, a food delivery partner named Bahadur, 25, from Assam, was attacked by three bike-borne individuals in East Bengaluru’s Konena Agrahara area. The incident occurred around 2:30 am in a poorly lit, isolated location while Bahadur was en route to deliver food.

According to the police, the attackers pushed Bahadur and attempted to snatch his mobile phone. Despite his efforts to resist, they overpowered him and fled with his phone. Bahadur subsequently reported the crime at the Jeevan Bima Nagar police station. An FIR has been registered under BNS Section 309(2) (robbery).

A police officer involved in the case stated that one of the suspects has been identified and a manhunt is underway. However, the suspect has reportedly switched off his phone and is currently evading capture.
