ConfirmTkt, the official train ticketing partner of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), has announced free metro rides for Bengaluru residents on May 31 to celebrate the team’s entry into the IPL final.
The special initiative will allow fans to travel across the Bengaluru Metro network at no cost on match day, making it easier for people to reach fan zones, gatherings and watch parties across the city.
Free travel across all metro lines
According to the company, the offer will be valid on all Bengaluru Metro lines on May 31, 2026. Users can claim the benefit directly through the ConfirmTkt mobile application under the Metro Tickets section.
The company said the initiative aims to reduce traffic congestion, encourage public transport usage and help fans enjoy the final without worrying about travel hassles.
Under the offer, users can avail free metro rides up to two times during the day, with a maximum benefit of ₹100 per user.

Dinesh Kumar Kotha, CEO of ixigo Trains and ConfirmTkt, said RCB’s qualification for the final is a proud moment for Bengaluru and that the company wanted to contribute to the celebrations.
He noted that the initiative would help supporters travel conveniently while promoting greener and smarter commuting options across the city.
Fans urged to plan ahead
With large crowds expected across Bengaluru on match day, commuters are encouraged to book their metro tickets in advance through the ConfirmTkt app and make use of public transport instead of private vehicles.
The announcement has generated excitement among cricket fans, many of whom are expected to gather at restaurants, fan parks and public screening venues to cheer for RCB in the final.
