Bengaluru experienced heavy rain on Thursday, leading to waterlogging on several roads and disrupting vehicular movement. Tree branches fell in some areas, further hampering traffic flow.
A tree fell on the road in Karthik Nagar and K.R. Puram, temporarily halting traffic. Similarly, a tree branch fell near Palya Junction, affecting traffic towards Yelahanka. Slow movement of vehicles was reported on Marathahalli Police Station Service Road due to waterlogging.
Standing water near Hebbal Circle and Esteem Mall also caused traffic problems. Marathahalli was severely affected, with waterlogging turning the road into a canal-like situation. The rain has caused significant disruptions in the city, and commuters are advised to exercise caution while traveling.”
