Woman alleges men threatened and blocked her car
In her complaint, B Rachana said the incident began on Friday when she honked at a multi-utility vehicle (MUV) that was allegedly blocking her path while she was returning home after meeting her husband Bharath at their farmhouse near Hesaraghatta.
Rachana alleged that after she honked, one of the men approached her vehicle, photographed her on his mobile phone, and later blocked her car again after a short distance.
She further stated that two men then approached her car window, with one allegedly threatening to break the glass using a stone.
Husband allegedly assaulted
Rachana said she alerted her husband, Bharath, who rushed to the location and asked the men to delete her photograph and leave.
According to the complaint, the accused allegedly assaulted Bharath and attempted to attack him with a stone. Further escalation was reportedly prevented after Rachana’s relatives arrived at the scene and informed the police.
Police suspect alcohol influence
Police officials said investigations revealed that the accused were allegedly under the influence of alcohol during the incident.
A senior officer stated that the men allegedly misbehaved with Rachana assuming she was an outsider. A case has been registered under multiple sections, including attempted murder.
