Bengaluru: At an age when many graduates are just beginning their careers, 25-year-old Zaid Khan, founder of Zedital Media, says he has built a net worth of around ₹5 crore through entrepreneurship and strategic real estate investments. Speaking on The Crore Club podcast, Khan shared his journey from being a NEET aspirant to becoming a successful entrepreneur while pursuing studies at IIM Bengaluru.

From NEET aspirant to successful entrepreneur

Khan revealed that he grew up in a middle-class family where becoming a doctor was the expected career path. However, during Class 12, he chose a different direction and began working with YouTube creators while preparing for NEET.

A freelance opportunity with a California-based influencer earned him ₹1.24 lakh, giving him the confidence to pursue media and entrepreneurship. He later enrolled in Journalism and Mass Communication, started a production house and eventually founded Zedital Media, a branding and media advertising company.

Building a business through branding

Zedital Media specialises in branding, personal branding, meme marketing, content distribution, online reputation management (ORM) and LinkedIn Profile Amplification Management (PAM).

Khan said his first crore came in 2023, when he was just 22 years old. Since then, he has focused on reinvesting profits into expanding the business while also investing in real estate.

Despite his entrepreneurial success, Khan chose to pursue higher education at IIM Bengaluru, saying he wanted to strengthen his academic knowledge and apply it to his growing business.

Advice for aspiring entrepreneurs

During the podcast, Khan encouraged young entrepreneurs to start selling their skills or services, regardless of the amount they initially earn.

He also stressed the importance of building a strong digital presence, describing online content as a person’s “digital currency.”

Reflecting on his journey, Khan admitted he had made financial mistakes early on but advised young people to avoid impulsive spending. For him, money is not merely wealth but “fuel to achieve bigger goals.”
