A social media influencer has reported the loss of jewellery worth ₹5.64 lakh after allegedly leaving the valuables behind at an aesthetic clinic in central Bengaluru.

The incident was reported at ISAAC Luxe Clinic on Vittal Mallya Road, where the Cox Town resident had visited for a laser treatment session on May 7.

Jewellery left behind before treatment

According to the complaint, the woman was asked to remove her jewellery before undergoing the procedure and place it in a box kept inside the therapy room.

The valuables reportedly included four diamond rings and two gold bangles.

After completing the treatment, she left the clinic around 6.30 pm and realised only later that she had forgotten to collect the jewellery.

Calls went unanswered

The complainant said she immediately attempted to contact the clinic and made multiple calls after discovering the omission. However, she alleged that none of the calls were answered.

As she was scheduled to travel to Paris for an event, she informed the clinic’s head office in Delhi about the situation and planned to collect the jewellery upon her return.

The following day, her sister reportedly visited the clinic to enquire about the missing ornaments but was unable to obtain any information.

CCTV footage under scrutiny

After returning to Bengaluru, the influencer again approached the clinic and questioned staff members regarding the missing valuables.

According to the FIR, she stated that CCTV footage showed her entering the clinic wearing the jewellery and leaving without it. She also claimed that several staff members and a cleaner entered the therapy room after she left.

The complainant said many of the jewellery pieces were gifts received over the years and carried significant sentimental value.

Police begin investigation

Cubbon Park police have registered an FIR based on the complaint and initiated an investigation into the matter.

Police officials said inquiries are underway, though staff members at the clinic are yet to be questioned. Authorities are expected to examine CCTV footage and other evidence as part of the investigation. #Bengaluru #CrimeNews #JewelleryTheft #PoliceInvestigation #VittalMallyaRoad #newskarnataka
