Bengaluru: JD(S) MLA and former Karnataka Minister H D Revanna addressed the allegations against his son, MLC Suraj Revanna, asserting they were part of a conspiracy. He expressed his trust in the judiciary and expressed readiness to disclose everything in due time.

Suraj Revanna, the brother of former MP Prajwal Revanna, faced arrest in Hassan on charges of “unnatural offences” against a male party worker. Refuting the allegations, Suraj accused the complainant of attempting extortion.

H D Revanna refrained from immediate reactions, citing respect for the ongoing CID investigation and judicial process. He maintained his confidence in handling the situation and suggested that time would reveal the truth.

Meanwhile, Union Minister and JD(S) state chief H D Kumaraswamy distanced himself from the matter, saying it was unrelated to him and urging focus on state issues. He reiterated that legal proceedings would proceed independently.

Previously, Prajwal Revanna, also implicated in sexual assault cases, had been arrested upon returning from Germany. His parents, H D Revanna and Bhavani, are currently on bail, facing accusations related to alleged abduction in connection with Prajwal’s legal troubles.
