Bengaluru: A man was brutally beaten to death with a car jack rod in a shocking incident reported from Ramamurthy Nagar on the night of March 23. The murder, which allegedly stemmed from a financial dispute, has led to the arrest of two accused.
The victim has been identified as Kiran, who, according to police, was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
Dispute turns fatal
Police said that Kiran was engaged in an argument with two individuals, identified as Yuvaraj and Kangaraju, over a financial matter. What began as a verbal altercation soon escalated into a violent confrontation.
During the fight, one of the accused allegedly picked up a jack rod—commonly used to repair vehicle punctures—and repeatedly assaulted Kiran. The intensity of the attack left the victim with fatal injuries, leading to his death on the spot.

The gruesome incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera. Footage reportedly shows the victim lying motionless on the ground while the accused continued to to hit him with the rod.
