Bengaluru: Panic briefly gripped commuters travelling on the Bengaluru–Mangaluru National Highway after a man was seen brandishing a gun while seated inside a moving car near the Talakere hand post in Bengaluru South district. The incident, which occurred on January 20, triggered alarm among motorists and members of the public before the situation was brought under control by the police.

According to eyewitnesses, the man was seen holding and displaying what appeared to be a firearm from inside the vehicle as it moved along the highway.
