Bengaluru police have begun an investigation after a 56-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances inside a car near Electronics City.

The deceased has been identified as Narayanappa, a resident of Basapura.

Body found early morning

According to police, Narayanappa had left his home by car in the morning. Later, passersby noticed a motionless person inside the vehicle and alerted authorities.

Police teams, along with crime scene officers and forensic experts, rushed to the location and recovered the body.

The body was later sent for post-mortem examination.

Injury marks noticed

Investigators said preliminary observations revealed injury marks on the face and chest of the deceased.

Officials are now awaiting the autopsy report to determine the exact cause of death and whether foul play was involved.

Murder angle under probe

Based on a complaint, police have registered a case and started examining the sequence of events leading to the death.

Authorities are also probing whether Narayanappa was murdered. The motive behind the suspected crime remains unclear.

Family informed

Police said family members of the deceased have been informed, and further investigation is under way.
