A 30-year-old man has been arrested in Bengaluru for allegedly secretly filming a 23-year-old software engineer while she was bathing inside her rented accommodation.
Complaint leads to swift action
According to police, the incident came to light after the woman noticed suspicious activity and approached authorities. Acting on her complaint, officers launched an investigation and tracked down the accused.
He was subsequently taken into custody and booked under relevant sections related to invasion of privacy and harassment.
