Bengaluru: The Directorate of Minorities, Government of Karnataka, will organise PARVA 2026, a special event aimed at promoting and empowering minority artisans, entrepreneurs and traditional craft communities from September 26 to 30 at Tripuravasini in Bengaluru.
The five-day event will provide artisans, food entrepreneurs, small businesses and makers of traditional products an opportunity to showcase and sell their products directly to visitors. Around 200 stalls will be made available as part of the programme.
The event is intended to provide a platform for minority entrepreneurs to promote their products, reach new customers and support their livelihoods.
Around 200 stalls available
PARVA 2026 will feature around 200 stalls showcasing a range of products and traditional works. These will include food items, handicrafts, traditional products and other artisan creations.
One of the key features of the event is that the stalls will be provided completely free of cost to eligible artisans and entrepreneurs.
The organisers have stated that stall allotment will be carried out on a first come, first serve basis. Artisans and entrepreneurs interested in participating have therefore been encouraged to register at the earliest.
The event is expected to bring together a diverse group of entrepreneurs and artisans, offering visitors an opportunity to explore and purchase traditional and locally produced goods while directly supporting the participating businesses.
Five-day event at Tripuravasini
PARVA 2026 will be held from September 26 to September 30 at Tripuravasini, Bengaluru.
The event will remain open to visitors from 9 am to 8 pm each day, providing participants with extended hours to display and sell their products.
The organisers have invited members of the public to attend the event in large numbers and support minority artisans and entrepreneurs.
The programme also aims to provide greater visibility to traditional art forms and products while creating a common platform for small businesses and individual entrepreneurs.
Chief Minister to inaugurate event
The inauguration of PARVA 2026 will be conducted by Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar.
The inaugural programme is expected to mark the formal opening of the five-day event and its exhibition and sales activities.
The Directorate of Minorities has encouraged artisans, food entrepreneurs, small businesses and others who could benefit from the event to make use of the free stall opportunity.
The initiative is also expected to help participating entrepreneurs introduce their products to a wider audience in Bengaluru.
