A young woman working as a radio jockey allegedly died by suicide in Bengaluru, with police confirming that she named her boyfriend in a death note recovered from the scene.
The deceased has been identified as a 27-year-old radio jockey who was residing in the city. According to police, she was found hanging at her residence. Her family members reportedly alerted authorities after discovering her unresponsive.
During investigation, police recovered a handwritten note in which the woman allegedly mentioned her boyfriend and accused him of causing emotional distress. Officials said the contents of the note are being verified as part of the investigation.
Police begin detailed investigation
Police have registered a case of unnatural death and initiated further inquiry into the circumstances leading to the incident. Investigators are questioning the boyfriend and examining phone records, messages, and other evidence linked to the case.
The body has been shifted for post-mortem examination.
