Bengaluru: Roy Cruiser, Bengaluru-based automobile expedition group, has created history by setting records in both the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records for organising the largest international cross-border car and motorcycle convoy, successfully completing the Namaste Nepal 2025 Expedition.

Record-breaking international journey

According to certificates issued by the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records, the historic convoy began its journey from Bengaluru, Karnataka, on December 20, 2025, and concluded in Kathmandu, Nepal, on December 25, 2025. The record was officially confirmed on December 26, 2025.

The expedition involved a massive convoy of cars and motorcycles travelling across international borders, marking one of the most ambitious long-distance automotive journeys undertaken from Karnataka to Nepal.

Recognised for scale, innovation and sustainability

The record recognises Roy Cruiser for executing the largest convoy on a cross-border international road trip, bringing together adventure, innovation and sustainable mobility. The certificates highlight how the expedition showcased India’s growing automotive spirit while promoting responsible long-distance travel across diverse terrains and international borders.

Both record bodies acknowledged the logistical planning, coordination, and disciplined execution required to manage such a large convoy across multiple regions and challenging landscapes.

Asia and India Book of Records honour

The Asia Book of Records certificate notes that the expedition was conducted under the campaign name Namaste Nepal 2025 Expedition, while the India Book of Records certificate reiterates the achievement as an extraordinary feat in international road travel.

The certificates were issued and authenticated by senior officials and editors of the respective record organisations, further cementing the credibility of the achievement.

The accomplishment places Roy Cruiser among elite expedition organisers in India, setting a benchmark for future cross-border automotive convoys.
