Sanjana Ramesh, a disciple of Kathak maestro Natyachaar Shweta Venkatesh, marked her Rangmanch Pravesh on December 28 at JSS Auditorium, Jayanagar. A graphic designer by profession, Sanjana began her dance journey at the age of seven, dedicating six years to training under Sai Arts International.

Excelling in her craft, she achieved distinction in both junior and senior Kathak grades under KSEEB and completed Praveshika Prathama through Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. Her artistry has graced festivals across Udupi, Dharmasthala, Hampi, and beyond, with notable performances at Sai Nrityotsav, Urban Utsav, Natya Ninada, and Rashtriya Nritya Samarambha. She has also performed in temples like Gayatri, Dakshina Ayodhya, and Kadu Malleshwara.

Sanjana’s Rangmanch Pravesh was a harmonious blend of tradition and talent. She was accompanied by her guru Shweta Venkatesh (Padhant), Shankar Shanbhogue (Vocals), Guru Murthy Vaidya (Pakhawaj), Karthik Bhat (Tabla), Sameer Rao (Flute), and Shruti Kamath (Sitar).

The event was graced by dignitaries, including Shubha Dhananjay, president of Karnataka Sangeetha Nruthya Academy, and Pardeep Kumar, Zonal Director of the Indian Council of Cultural Relations, Bengaluru.
