Luxury chocolatier SMOOR has marked its 10-year milestone by launching India’s largest consumer-facing Chocolate Factory Experience in Bengaluru. Spread across 68,000 sq. ft., the SMOOR Experience Centre is designed as a living museum of cocoa, offering an immersive journey from bean to bar.

A chocolate factory open to visitors

The facility houses a fully operational, consumer-facing chocolate factory with guided tours that walk visitors through the production process. A dedicated chocolate lab showcases key stages of manufacturing, while advanced machinery sourced from Germany, Italy and India ensures global standards of quality.

The centre can host approximately 350 visitors per day and is designed for future expansion up to 1,20,000 sq. ft.

Café, craft and cocoa storytelling

A 2,200 sq. ft. café with 60 covers offers curated desserts and signature beverages, complementing the experiential tour. Guests can create their own chocolate bars, participate in Indian cocoa tasting sessions and attend chef-led workshops and masterclasses focused on chocolate artistry.

By integrating manufacturing, R&D, experiential retail and hospitality within one space, the Experience Centre represents a first-of-its-kind model in India’s F&B ecosystem.

A global benchmark for Indian chocolate

Founder and CEO Vimal Sharma described the launch as a statement of intent. “Our ambition was to create a chocolate destination in India that could stand alongside the world’s most iconic chocolate houses,” he said.

As Bengaluru continues to evolve as a hub for premium lifestyle experiences, the SMOOR Experience Centre signals a growing appetite for immersive, high-quality culinary destinations in Karnataka.
