Bengaluru: A heartwarming act of kindness at Bengaluru’s airport has touched thousands online after a stranger gave up his airport lounge access to help a family travelling with their young child.
The incident came to light through a video shared on Instagram by the account @lifeworklullaby, where a man recounted the unexpected gesture while travelling with his wife, Shreya, and their daughter, Veda, from Bengaluru to Delhi.
Unexpected help at the airport
According to the video, the family realised they could not all access the airport lounge because they required two eligible cards, but only had one after Shreya accidentally left her wallet at home.
While they were discussing the situation, a fellow traveller standing nearby noticed they were travelling with a young child.
The stranger reportedly offered his own lounge access, telling the family that they needed the facility more than he did. He explained that he only intended to spend time in the lounge, whereas the family would be more comfortable there with their child.
