Bengaluru: In light of Mahashivaratri and Uru Habba festivities on Yemalur Main Road, traffic diversions have been implemented between Yemalur Kodi Junction and Glory Juice Centre on Wednesday and Thursday.

To ease movement, vehicles heading from Yemalur Kodi towards Varthur Road should opt for the Kempapura Main Road route, passing via Rohan Apartments Road before rejoining Varthur Road. Similarly, commuters traveling from Varthur Road towards Yemalur Kodi Road can detour through Rohan Apartments and Kempapura Main Road before reaching their destination.

These restrictions remain effective until 3 PM on Thursday.

Additionally, due to prayers and rituals at the Shivoham Shiva Temple on HAL Old Airport Road, specific traffic curbs will be enforced from 5 AM on Wednesday until midnight on Thursday.

Motorists are advised to take alternative routes, including Suranjan Das Road, Old Madras Road, and JB Nagar Main Road, to avoid delays. Parking is strictly restricted on both sides of Old Airport Road.

For devotees heading to the Shivoham Shiva Temple, designated parking is available at Sir M. Vishveshwaraya College Grounds, situated near the shrine.

Plan ahead to steer clear of congestion and ensure a smooth commute.
