A 66-year-old woman, identified as Shivamma and a resident of Herohalli, met with a fatal accident near Herohalli lake in southwestern Bengaluru. The incident occurred on Saturday around 8.45 am when Shivamma was returning home after her morning walk.
According to police officials, a speeding motorcycle collided with Shivamma, resulting in severe injuries. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, she succumbed to her injuries. The suspected rider of the motorcycle, identified as Sunil, has been arrested by the Kamakshipalyam traffic police.
The tragic incident has once again highlighted the importance of road safety and responsible driving. Residents in the area have expressed shock and sorrow over Shivamma’s untimely demise.
