Bengaluru: A tragic incident was reported on the outskirts of Bengaluru where two members of a family lost their lives and two others sustained serious injuries in what police suspect to be linked to severe financial distress.
The deceased have been identified as Asha (55) and her daughter Varshitha (34), who died at the scene. Meanwhile, Mohan Gowda (32) and an 11-year-old boy, Mayank, sustained critical injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

According to police, the incident came to light after relatives received a video message from the family indicating distress over mounting financial debt. Alarmed by the message, relatives rushed to the house.
Finding the doors locked from inside, they entered through the rear entrance and discovered all four family members in an injured condition. Police were immediately alerted and reached the spot to initiate further action.
