Two people died and five others were injured in a horrific accident on the Mysuru-Bengaluru Expressway near Agaralinganadoddi (close to Maddur) late Sunday night.
- Maqsood (21) and Ayaan (25), both from Bengaluru, lost their lives.
- The accident occurred around 10 PM when a speeding car jumped the median and collided head-on with another car.
- The injured include:
- Mujaheed Pasha (co-passenger)
- Basavaraj, Parvathi, Nagarathna, and Nagaraju from the second car
- Initial treatment was given at hospitals in Maddur and Channapatna; all injured were later shifted to Bengaluru for further care.
- Police said the speeding vehicle also hit two other cars after losing control.
