BENGALURU: On Tuesday morning, an unidentified woman was found dead in a semi-apartment complex in Malleswaram. The woman, believed to be around 45 years old, was discovered hanging from the fourth floor of the building. She had entered the premises around 7:30 a.m. after visiting a nearby temple, and climbed to the fourth floor where she used a rope to hang herself from a staircase railing.

The tragedy was brought to light when a resident on a lower floor was alerted by his barking dog. Upon being informed, the police arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation. The woman’s body was subsequently sent for an autopsy. Police officials noted that there was no security personnel present at the semi-apartment complex, which may have facilitated her entry and actions.

Initial findings suggest that the woman may have planned the incident in advance. The Malleswaram police have registered an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) and are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. The identity of the woman remains unknown as she was not a local resident.
