Moments later, lightning struck the same tree, killing both men on the spot.
Case registered
Khatak Chincholi Police Station has registered a case and further procedures are underway.
The incident has left villagers shocked, with locals mourning the sudden loss of two young lives.
Safety warning during thunderstorms
Police urged people to avoid taking shelter under trees during thunderstorms, as trees often attract lightning strikes and can become highly dangerous during severe weather.
