According to data from Naukri.com, vacancies for ML engineers more than doubled year-on-year in April, underscoring the city’s robust growth in the tech sector. Alongside ML engineers, positions for HR generalists surged by 53%, while roles for operations managers saw a notable increase of 45%. The demand for full stack data scientists also grew substantially by 36%, highlighting Bengaluru’s increasing emphasis on data-driven roles across industries.

In contrast to Bengaluru, other major cities in India also experienced notable shifts in their job markets. Hyderabad, for instance, saw a remarkable 64% rise in vacancies for full stack data scientists, indicating a strong demand for tech expertise in the city’s burgeoning tech scene. Mumbai witnessed significant growth with a 53% increase in company secretary jobs, suggesting a buoyant corporate governance landscape. Meanwhile, Delhi/NCR recorded a 49% surge in operations manager positions, reflecting the region’s growing managerial needs across various sectors.

These trends underscore a broader shift in India’s job market towards technical proficiency, data analysis, and managerial expertise. Bengaluru, with its concentration of tech giants and startups, remains at the forefront of this transformation, attracting professionals seeking opportunities in cutting-edge technologies and innovative industries.
