Mumbai: India’s primary market is set for a busy week beginning October 26, 2026, with four mainboard initial public offerings (IPOs) scheduled to open for subscription. EAAA India Alternatives, BLS Polymers, SFC Environmental Technologies and M K Sons Fine Jewels will give investors opportunities to explore companies from the alternative investment, polymers, environmental technology and jewellery sectors.

The four public issues will open on different dates during the week, with price bands ranging from ₹142 to ₹1,665 per share. The IPOs include both fresh share issues, through which companies raise new capital, and offers for sale (OFS), in which existing shareholders sell their holdings.

EAAA India Alternatives will open first on October 26, followed by BLS Polymers and SFC Environmental Technologies on October 27. M K Sons Fine Jewels will open its issue on October 28.

The upcoming offerings come as investors track new listings and opportunities in India’s equity market. However, investors should examine each company’s financial performance, business risks, valuation and use of IPO proceeds before making investment decisions.

EAAA India Alternatives IPO opens on October 26

EAAA India Alternatives Ltd., part of Edelweiss Financial Services, will launch its public issue on October 26. The three-day subscription window will close on October 28, 2026.

The company aims to raise ₹1,200 crore through the IPO. The issue is entirely an offer for sale by the Edelweiss Group, meaning the proceeds will go to the selling shareholder rather than being raised by the company through a fresh issue of shares.

An OFS allows existing shareholders to sell part of their investment to public-market investors. While it can increase public shareholding and provide liquidity to existing investors, it does not directly provide the company with fresh funds for expansion.

EAAA India Alternatives operates in the alternative investment space, a segment that can include investment strategies and assets beyond conventional listed shares and bonds. Investors evaluating the business may wish to study its revenue sources, profitability, assets under management, client relationships and exposure to market conditions.

The issue is scheduled to close on October 28. Investors should consult the final offer documents and official exchange information for the confirmed price band, lot size and other application details.

BLS Polymers IPO to raise ₹255 crore

BLS Polymers will open its IPO on October 27, with subscription closing on October 29. The company has set a price band of ₹142 to ₹150 per share.

The issue comprises a fresh offering of 1.70 crore shares and aims to raise ₹255 crore. Unlike an OFS, the fresh issue will bring new capital into the company.

According to its red herring prospectus, BLS Polymers plans to use ₹77.56 crore of the proceeds to expand its manufacturing facility and increase the production capacity of certain existing products.

The proposed investment is intended to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities. Capacity expansion can help a business meet higher demand, but its commercial benefits depend on factors such as utilisation rates, customer orders, raw material costs and the company’s ability to manage operating expenses.

Investors considering the issue should review the company’s financial statements, debt position, operating margins and competitive position in the polymers market. They should also examine how the remaining issue proceeds are allocated in the offer documents.

The IPO’s price band of ₹142 to ₹150 gives investors a reference for assessing the proposed valuation against the company’s earnings, assets and growth prospects.

SFC Environmental Technologies IPO opens on October 27

SFC Environmental Technologies will also open its IPO on October 27, with the subscription period ending on October 29. The company has set a price band of ₹313 to ₹330 per share.

The offering combines a fresh issue of 45.45 lakh shares with an offer for sale of 1.57 crore shares.

The two components serve different purposes. The fresh issue generates capital for the company, while the OFS allows existing shareholders to sell shares. The balance between the two is relevant for investors assessing how much new funding the business will receive from the public offering.

Environmental technology companies operate in areas connected to environmental management and infrastructure. Investors should examine SFC’s specific business activities, project pipeline, customer concentration, financial performance and the risks associated with executing projects.

The offer documents are also important for understanding the intended use of fresh proceeds, the shareholding structure after listing and the terms of the offer for sale.

With a price band of ₹313 to ₹330 per share, investors should assess the issue’s valuation using the company’s disclosed financial information rather than relying solely on the sector in which it operates.

M K Sons Fine Jewels IPO opens on October 28

M K Sons Fine Jewels will open its public issue on October 28 and close it on October 30. The company has fixed a price band of ₹153 to ₹162 per share.

The IPO consists of a fresh issue of 1.36 crore shares and an offer for sale of 34 lakh shares. This combination means the offering will include both new capital for the company and the sale of shares held by existing shareholders.

Aryaman Financial Services Ltd. is the book-running lead manager, while Bigshare Services Pvt. Ltd. is the registrar of the issue.

As a jewellery-sector company, M K Sons Fine Jewels may be assessed on factors such as sales growth, margins, inventory management, working-capital requirements and its ability to manage changes in gold prices and consumer demand. Jewellery businesses can also face risks associated with inventory valuation, customer preferences and competition.

Investors should review the company’s prospectus for its financial performance, business model, planned use of proceeds and any risks highlighted by the company before applying.

The subscription window will remain open for three days, ending on October 30.

What investors should check before applying

Although IPOs can provide access to companies before or around their stock-market debut, they also carry risks. A company’s sector or the amount it plans to raise does not by itself establish whether its shares are attractively priced.

Investors should read the red herring prospectus and review the company’s revenue, profits, cash flows, outstanding debt, business risks and valuation. They should also distinguish between fresh issues, which raise capital for the business, and OFS components, which provide an exit opportunity for existing shareholders.

The minimum application amount, lot size, reservation categories and other subscription conditions should be checked using official exchange information and the offer documents. Market commentary and unofficial grey-market premiums, where reported, are not reliable guarantees of listing performance.

With four mainboard IPOs scheduled across the week, the primary market will offer several different business models for investors to assess. The final decision to apply should depend on individual financial circumstances, risk tolerance and independent evaluation of each company’s disclosures.
