Udupi: Govinda Babu Poojari has been conferred with honorary doctorate by Asia Vedic Culture Foundation.
Born in an agricultural family in a small village of Byndoor Taluk, Poojari is a self-made entrepreneur who had a very humble beginning.
He always wanted to create employment hence with this vision he started a company called Cheftalk Food and Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai. Now, Cheftalk has employed more than 4500+ employees and is present across 6 states of India. Cheftalk now owns one of the best kitchens with all kinds of advanced and modern facilities.
