Following the resignation of Pieter Elbers, co-founder and Managing Director Rahul Bhatia will oversee operations of IndiGo on an interim basis until a new chief executive is appointed.

The airline announced that Bhatia will temporarily take charge of operational responsibilities to ensure continuity in leadership during the transition period.
