Mumbai : Reliance Jio has introduced a range of new international roaming (IR) packs tailored for popular travel destinations, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Canada, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and various countries in Europe and the Caribbean. These packs are designed to offer travelers comprehensive coverage and connectivity while abroad.
For UAE Travelers:
- Entry-Level Pack: Priced at Rs 898, this plan includes 100 minutes of outgoing calls (both local and to India), 100 minutes of incoming calls, 1GB of data, and 100 SMS with a validity of 7 days.
- Extended Stay Pack: At Rs 1,598, this option offers 150 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls, 3GB of data, and a validity of 14 days.
- Premium Pack: For Rs 2,998, customers get 250 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls, 7GB of data, and a validity of 21 days.
For Saudi Arabia:
- Basic Pack: Available at Rs 891, this includes 100 minutes of calls, 1GB of data, 20 SMS, and a validity of 7 days.
- Extended Pack: For Rs 2,891, users receive 150 minutes of calls, 5GB of data, 100 SMS, and a 30-day validity.
For Canada:
- 14-Day Pack: Priced at Rs 1,691, this plan includes 100 minutes of calls, 5GB of data, 50 SMS, and a 14-day validity.
- 30-Day Pack: At Rs 2,881, the plan offers 150 minutes of calls, 10GB of data, 100 SMS, and a 30-day validity.
For Thailand:
- 14-Day Pack: For Rs 1,551, travellers get 100 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls, 6GB of data, and 50 SMS.
- 30-Day Pack: Priced at Rs 2,851, this plan provides 150 minutes of calls, 12GB of data, and 100 SMS.
For Europe and the Caribbean:
- European Pack: At Rs 2,899, this pack covers 32 countries, offering 100 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls, 5GB of data, and 100 SMS with a 30-day validity.
- Caribbean Pack: Starting at Rs 1,671, this plan covers 24 countries and includes 150 minutes of outgoing calls, 50 minutes of incoming calls, 1GB of data, and 50 SMS for 14 days. The premium option at Rs 3,851 provides 200 minutes of calls, 4GB of data, 100 SMS, and a 30-day validity, including free in-flight benefits.
The new IR packs include unlimited incoming SMS and outgoing calls (local and to India) within the visited country. Incoming calls can be received from any country, and Wi-Fi calling is supported. However, outgoing local and international calls, as well as SMS over Wi-Fi, are not included in these packs.
