TTK Prestige Limited has inaugurated the Sri T.T. Jagannathan Innovation Centre in Bengaluru, marking a significant step in strengthening its research and development capabilities in the kitchen appliances segment.

Focus on design and innovation

The newly launched centre will focus on design-led, consumer-centric innovation aimed at enhancing product development. It will also work on strengthening the company’s technological capabilities and exploring new growth segments within kitchen appliances.

The facility is named after the company’s Chairman Emeritus, Late Sri T.T. Jagannathan, recognising his contribution to the organisation.

Investment in R&D expansion

TTK Prestige has committed an investment of ₹15 crore for the Bengaluru innovation centre along with the revamp of its existing R&D facility in Hosur. The combined investment is expected to boost the company’s innovation pipeline and improve product quality.

Strengthening future growth

The company stated that the centre will play a key role in validating and scaling new product opportunities, helping it stay competitive in a rapidly evolving market.

Alongside infrastructure development, TTK Prestige is also expanding its innovation team by adding new talent to support research and product development initiatives.

Dual strategy for development

While the Bengaluru centre will focus on advanced kitchen appliance innovation, the upgraded Hosur facility will continue to drive kitchenware development with enhanced capabilities.

Long-term vision

The move aligns with the company’s broader strategy to invest in innovation and develop value-added products over the coming years.

With this initiative, TTK Prestige aims to strengthen its position in the kitchen appliances market while catering to evolving consumer needs.
