Bengaluru: Global software major Wipro Ltd has posted Rs.2,230 crore net profit for third quarter (October-December) of this fiscal (2015-16), registering a marginal two percent year-on-year (YoY) growth.
In a regulatory filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday, the IT bellwether said consolidated revenue for the quarter (Q3) under review increased seven percent YoY to Rs.12,861 crore.
Under the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS), net income is $338 million and gross revenue $1,943 million ($1.94 billion), including $1,838 million ($1.84 billion) from IT services business.
