Mangalore University is all set to implement the International Education Policy - 2019. A workshop will be held at the Ravindra Kalabhavanam, University College Mangalore on August 31, 2020 (Monday) to raise awareness of the new education policy and to have an open dialogue with experts in the field of education.
Chancellor of the Central Tribal University, Andhra Pradesh Prof T V Kattimani will deliver the roadmap. CESS Executive Board Member Dr Manasa Nagabhushan is going to be a resource person. Chancellor of Mangalore University He will preside over the program.
Talking about the program, the Mangalore University has been able to implement a new education policy in the coastal districts of the best working culture, active syndicate, education experts, local chancellor, people's cooperation and ten other reasons. The historic bill, passed with extraordinary support, is teacher-centered and is expected to bring about a radical change in the system. There will be open discussion at various levels on its implementation. The program will be the first step in the bill's implementation, he said.
The event will be attended by members of the Mangalore University Syndicate Board, Board of Education, Heads of Departments, Legislative Committees and Principals of Mangalore City Colleges. The event will be held in association with the All-India Student Council, the Center for Educational and Social Studies in Mangalore and Bangalore.
