Chamarajanagar: IAS officer and KSRTC Managing Director Shivayogi Kalasad-led team visited the district Covid Hospital in Chamarajanagar, where 23 patients died, allegedly due to shortage of Oxygen.

Kalasad was on visit on Tuesday May 4 after he was appointed as the inquiry officer to probe the tragedy. Speaking to media persons, Kalasad said that the probe will be conducted from all angles. All the details have been collected and I cannot divulge anything now as inquiry is in preliminary stages, he added.

On the occasion of the visit, the team had discussion with the doctors, hospital staff and also with Deputy Commissioner M R Ravi. The report will be submitted in three days.
