A woman was decapitated in a shocking road accident while traveling on a KSRTC bus in Chamarajanagar district. The incident occurred on January 25 when the woman leaned out of the window to catch some fresh air. The horrifying visuals, which were widely shared on social media, show the gruesome nature of the accident.
A speeding truck heading in the opposite direction collided with the bus and severed her head from her body. The woman was aboard a non-AC KSRTC bus, traveling from Gundlupet to Nanjangud when the incident took place. The impact of the crash led to the tragic beheading.
Authorities have filed a case and initiated an investigation into the accident. The truck driver, responsible for the fatal collision, is reported to have fled the scene and remains at large.
In another recent incident, on January 22, a truck carrying fruits overturned in Uttara Kannada district, resulting in the deaths of 11 passengers onboard. In a separate incident last year, a 32-year-old man killed a young girl after her parents called off their arranged marriage, beheading her in a moment of rage.
These tragic incidents highlight the growing concerns regarding road safety in the region, urging for stricter measures to ensure safer travels.
