Chikkamagaluru: Narasimharaja Pura in Chikkamagaluru is gearing up for a tourism boom with the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) launching a ₹10 crore resort project near the scenic Bhadra backwaters. The upcoming retreat promises a mix of adventure, nature, and relaxation, making it a prime getaway spot in Karnataka.

Exciting New Attractions

  • Spread across three acres near the Honnekoodige bridge, the resort will feature:
  • A theme park and children’s park
  • Cottages with breathtaking views
  • Water sports and boating facilities
  • A check dam to maintain water levels year-round

With these features, the resort aims to provide visitors with a perfect blend of tranquility and thrill.

Major Boost to Local Tourism

The KSTDC has also proposed an additional ₹15-20 crore investment for 10 more cottages in Kusagal village and a nature park in collaboration with the forest department.

Infrastructure development is in full swing, backed by MLA TD Rajegowda. ₹35 crore is allocated for the Honnekoodige bridge, set to open within three months, and ₹60 crore for road improvements to enhance accessibility.

With an additional ₹20 crore earmarked for future tourism projects, Narasimharaja Pura is set to emerge as a key travel destination in Karnataka.
