In a tragic accident on Thursday afternoon in Gabgal village, Chikkamagaluru, Saldana, a 46-year-old coffee grower, lost his life after coming into contact with an overhead electric wire. Saldana was walking towards his coffee garden while carrying an iron ladder when the fatal incident occurred.

Saldana, a respected member of the local community known for his coffee cultivation, was electrocuted when the ladder he was holding touched the live electric wire. The shocking event highlights the dangers posed by poorly insulated or exposed electrical wires, especially in rural areas where such accidents can be more common.

Following the incident, the Baluru Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
