Chikkamagaluru: In a heart-wrenching incident, a one-and-a-half-year-old child lost his life after accidentally falling into a water-filled bucket at Ravuru Meenu Camp in N.R. Pura taluk.
The toddler, the son of local residents Anand and Anu, reportedly fell into the bucket on Thursday evening while Anu was busy washing clothes. The child is believed to have suffocated after slipping into the bucket.
The incident has left the family and the community in deep shock, highlighting the importance of vigilance around young children near water sources, even in everyday household settings.
