Chitradurga: In connection with the murder case of Renukaswamy, the Bengaluru police carried out raids in various parts of the city during the late hours of Thursday.

The focus of these raids were on the fourth accused, who allegedly transported Renukaswamy to Bangalore. The police searched locations near IUDP layout where Renukaswamy worked at a private pharmacy, as well as the petrol station where he parked his bike. Additionally, they conducted searches around Challakere gate where Renukaswamy got into the car and his residence on Turvanur Road.

Earlier in the day, there were rumors that a mahazar would take place on Thursday afternoon. Local authorities had made security arrangements in anticipation of this process. However, it was later announced that due to a large crowd gathering near Challakere gate causing traffic congestion, the process had been postponed. It is expected to be completed late at night if conditions permit.

In another development related to the case, accused number eight named Ravi surrendered himself at DySP office on Thursday and has since been handed over
