Mangaluru: The muhurat (launch ceremony) of the Konkani comedy play “Mellyanche Upadr…!”, staged by Comedy Company (R.) Mangalore as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, was held on Monday, May 18, at Don Bosco Hall, Mangaluru.
The event marked the official launch of the much-awaited comedy production in the presence of several prominent personalities from the Konkani theatre and entertainment fraternity.
Michael D’Souza inaugurates play poster
NRI businessman, philanthropist, and founder of Vision Konkani, Mr. Michael D’Souza, presided over the function and symbolically inaugurated the play by unveiling its official poster.
Founder of Daijiworld and initiator of Private Challenge, Mr. Walter Nandalike, attended the programme as the Chief Guest.
Prominent personalities grace event
Poet and entrepreneur Mr. Titus Noronha delivered the introductory address.
