Mangaluru: A new Konkani devotional hymn titled “Bagevonth Santh Anthony” was officially released at St. Anthony’s Shrine, Milagres, on Tuesday evening during the 10th week of the traditional 13 Tuesdays Novena devotion.

The hymn was formally launched by Rev. Fr. J.B. Crasta, Director of St. Anthony Ashram, Jeppu, immediately after the evening novena prayers.

The Holy Mass preceding the novena and release ceremony was celebrated by Rev. Dr. Ronald Serrao.

Musical tribute ahead of annual feast

The hymn has been produced by the St. Anthony’s Devotion Trust as part of the spiritual preparations for the upcoming Annual Feast of St. Anthony on June 13, 2026.

The devotional song aims to deepen the spiritual fervour among thousands of devotees participating in the “Season of Grace” leading up to the feast celebrations.

The Ashram administration also announced that the Three-Day Triduum will be held on June 10, 11, and 12 at:

  • Milagres Church

The celebrations will culminate with the grand feast on June 13.

The devotional hymn will soon be made available on digital streaming platforms and on the Trust’s official YouTube channel for devotees worldwide.
