The OASIS 2024, a two-day charismatic convention, took place at the Infant Jesus Shrine in Bikarnakatte from October 11-12, drawing thousands of faithful. The event highlighted the Shrine as a spiritual haven, focusing on the seven sacraments of the Church.

Fr Gregory D’Souza, senior Carmelite, inaugurated the convention with a solemn procession and incensing of the Bible. The event featured inspiring talks on the sacraments, praise and worship led by Br Prakash D’Souza and his Divine Mercy Youth Team, and an online adoration service viewed by 45,000 people worldwide.

Key speakers included Fr Rudolph Pinto, who launched the 2025 Bible diary and reflected on salvation through baptism, and Fr Boniface Pinto, who explored the sacrament of confirmation. On the second day, Fr Canute Barboza and Fr Cyril Lobo shared messages on healing, matrimony, and service.

With 8,000 attendees daily, OASIS 2024 was a profound spiritual experience, supported by the Shrine’s team.
