Bengaluru Woman And Lover Arrested For Strangling Husband After Being Caught

In a shocking incident near Whitefield, Bengaluru, a woman named Tejaswini, 32, and her lover, Gajendra Babu, 34, were arrested for allegedly strangling her husband, Mahesh, 36, on August 9. The crime occurred at the couple’s home in Hagadur when Mahesh, an autorickshaw driver, caught the duo spending private time together. According to Whitefield police, Tejaswini and Babu used a USB cable to strangle Mahesh between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm. After Mahesh lost consciousness, the pair rushed him to a hospital, attempting to pass off the murder as an accidental fall.

Tejaswini initially claimed that Mahesh had become unconscious during a heated argument and was declared dead at the hospital. However, police grew suspicious after noticing strangulation marks on Mahesh’s throat and collecting details from neighbors. During interrogation, both Tejaswini and Babu confessed to the crime.
