On Monday morning, a fire broke out at Dhanvantri Hospital near Doddanagudde, suspected to be caused by an electrical short circuit. Fortunately, no patients were in the hospital at the time, as renovation work was ongoing. A hospital worker first spotted the fire on an upper floor, prompting a call for two fire tenders to extinguish the blaze.
