Hubballi: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has alleged that a conspiracy is being hatched to free Sandalwood star Darshan who is also accused in the Chitradurga’s Renukashwamy murder case.
Speaking to the media in Hubballi today, Joshi alleged that some ministers and MLAs in the Renukashwamy murder case are trying to get Darshan acquitted by influencing the police.
“So far, the senior police officers have been conducting a proper investigation. The Bengaluru Police Commissioner should not succumb to any pressure or influence and conduct a proper investigation to deliver justice to the Renukashwamy family,” Joshi urged.
There should be a strict investigation into the Darshan case and the accused should be punished severely. The police should not tolerate any interference in this. A special investigation should be conducted,” he said.
“The government should prove through the Darshan case that law is the same for all in the state. There should be no interference to protect the criminals before the investigation and trial,” urged Union Minister Pralhad Joshi.
