Mysuru: In the village of Kyathamaranahalli, Mysuru, lawyer Harish Rajalakshmi is making a significant impact through his selfless dedication to education. Despite his professional career, Rajalakshmi passionately provides free tuition to approximately 100 children in his village, aiming to offer them a brighter future.
Harish Rajalakshmi, who has a busy legal career, began these evening classes out of concern for the children who were at risk of picking up bad habits due to their parents working late hours. The classes, held every evening from 7 PM to 9 PM at a local Ram Temple, started with just six students but have now grown substantially. The initiative was motivated by his belief in the importance of quality education for every child, especially those from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.
Rajalakshmi expressed his commitment to this cause, stating, “Many students here come from poor financial backgrounds and cannot afford quality education. With this initiative, I try to educate each of them and make them ready for the future.” His efforts have garnered appreciation and support from the local community, and he stands out as a role model for using his skills and resources to uplift those in need.
This selfless act by Harish Rajalakshmi highlights the difference one individual can make in their community, ensuring that education remains accessible to all, regardless of economic status.
