Mangaluru: Capt Shakin Raj of 18 KAR BN NCC and Assistant Professor at the School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), has been conferred the prestigious DDG NCC Commendation Award 2026 by the Karnataka & Goa Directorate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
The honour was presented by Air Commodore S.B. Arunkumar VSM, Deputy Director General (Karnataka & Goa Directorate), on April 18, 2026, in recognition of Capt Shakin Raj’s “service of a very high order” that enhanced the image of the National Cadet Corps and brought laurels to the NCC Directorate, Karnataka & Goa.
