Top 5 students score percentiles above 99th Percentile, placing them in the top 1% of nearly 20 lakh candidates nationwide
Mangaluru, July 2026 — Fourteen of the 59 students from the Centre for Advanced Learning (CFAL), Mangaluru, who appeared for NEET (UG) 2026 scored above 500 marks – 24% of the batch – with three, 5.1%, crossing 600. All are first-attempt candidates from CFAL’s regular two-year PU science programme.

Dhaval S Shetty led the batch with 651 marks, a percentile of 99.93. Devika Jayaraj (613 marks, 99.67 percentile) and Rishabh Shetty (611 marks, 99.65 percentile) followed, placing all three above the 99.6th percentile among the nearly 20 lakh candidates who appeared nationally.

A Word from the Academic Team
“NEET rewards students who build genuine understanding over two years rather than last-minute memorization, and apply it through consistent problem-solving practice. This batch’s results reflect that approach.”
Why These Results Matter
CFAL intentionally caps its total PU intake at around 320 students across all streams. None of the 59 students is a repeat candidate. Every student was part of CFAL’s integrated PU programme in Mangaluru, achieving these results without relocating to a coaching hub elsewhere in the country.
NEET (UG) 2026 drew close to 20 lakh candidates nationwide on 21 June, with roughly 56% qualifying. A qualifying score opens the door to undergraduate programmes in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BSc (Honours) Nursing, and Veterinary Science (BVSc & AH) across India.
