In a thoughtful effort to keep students engaged and focused during long study hours, Dayanand College of Arts in Latur, Maharashtra, has begun offering free tea and coffee to Class 12 students in its reading room. The initiative, launched earlier this week, is designed to support students as they prepare for their upcoming board exams.
Recognizing the mental and physical toll of extended study sessions, the college administration introduced this refreshing break to create a more comfortable and motivating environment for students. According to Dr. Shivaji Gaikwad, the college principal, the objective is to help students feel both encouraged and energized during their rigorous preparation.
Tea and coffee serve as quick energy boosters, keeping students alert and less prone to fatigue during their study sessions. “We want to ensure that students feel comfortable and motivated while preparing for such an important exam,” Dr. Gaikwad shared.
Students have expressed their appreciation for the initiative, noting that it has made their study experience more enjoyable. One student remarked, “It’s such a small gesture, but it makes a big difference. It shows the college genuinely cares about us and our success.”
